Hello Etsy Fans I am here in California visiting the grandkids having a great time. I thought you might like to see a future item. It is another clock plate and it is very mid-century modern, very retro.  It is a wonderful shade of brown/beige.  You remember Beige -the color of the  70's??  Groovy and far out, this clock will be perfect in your kitchen or how about the "Rec Room" basement? You can still order it while I am on vacation but it will take me a few extra days to ship.  Look for it soon in the shop. Babs

Hello Etsy fans I have made a new Treasury called Clock Works-Time marches on http://www.etsy.com/treasury/4cbcbe6556068eeff8ce086c/clock-works-time-marches-on Bec and I have a new ReMix item we call the Clock Plate.  We take a Mid Century Modern Retro Plate in a groovy design (Taylor Smith "Cathay" or Marcrest's "Swiss Chalet" pattern) and we use a new clock works  and  create a Beautiful  work of art. many more designs to follow.  Thanks for looking, Babs and Bec To see them all go to the shop

I thought you might want to know who we are at RetroBabs Vintage & Remix. We are a Mother -Daughter Team.  I am Babs, the Mother, I do the resale shop, garage sales, estate sales, Craigslist searching for the wonderful vintage treasures.  Bec ,the daughter, is an artist of textiles. She will be making ReMix out of vintage fabric and odds and ends that I find.  She makes fabulous quilts.  I am also an artist, I paint in watercolors and throw pottery on the wheel.  I have a few ReMix items in the shop.  Four pottery necklaces, in the shape of leaves on lovely cords. Very Bohemian! I also have a ReMix button bracelet in the shop.
