RetroBabs Vintage

I thought you might want to know who we are at RetroBabs Vintage & Remix. We are a Mother -Daughter Team.  I am Babs, the Mother, I do the resale shop, garage sales, estate sales, Craigslist searching for the wonderful vintage treasures.  Bec ,the daughter, is an artist of textiles. She will be making ReMix out of vintage fabric and odds and ends that I find.  She makes fabulous quilts.  I am also an artist, I paint in watercolors and throw pottery on the wheel.  I have a few ReMix items in the shop.  Four pottery necklaces, in the shape of leaves on lovely cords. Very Bohemian! I also have a ReMix button bracelet in the shop. Hey Gang here is a cool item that is currently on Ebay. I is a brass leaf from VirginiaMetalcrafters.  From 1948.  Very cool. I also have this groovy towel that is Linen in a very retro pattern.  Can't you just imagine this in your Grandmothers kitchen?

Hello Etsy Fans and Fellow Bloggers, I decided to list the Mirror as Folk Art that is Shabby Chic.  It would make a nice addition to any rooms decor. The other photo is what I currently have for sale on E-Bay. It is a Hull Pottery Vase with Seranade pattern in matte yellow.  Special item is from 1957

Here is a lovely piece that I will post on Etsy soon.  I am deciding about the shipping.  I believe this is considered folk art and I would not want it to be damaged.  It will not fit in a flat rate box!!  It is beautiful and very shabby chic and would great in a nautical themed room. Etsy Fans,  Hello and welcome to our blog.  I thought you might want to know what I work on for my own personal style.  I have said before that I love Mid-Century Modern.  I am always on the hunt for furniture and items to refurbish or collect.  Here are  some chairs I worked for a dining room. I also found this great Viko Baumritter ottoman.  Are these items that would sell on Etsy?  Hard to ship.?? This furniture is my first love.  That Eames- era style is what I like for my own home.   Tell me what you think.  I know the Etsy Vintage fans will have comments.
