Should I start a new shop?

Here is a question for you fellow bloggers: Should I start a new shop for my original art work and pottery?  I have had some members of my team suggest that I might want to consider separating my art work from the vintage.  (RetroBabs Vintage & ReMix)  It might be better for me to have the fine art and vintage in two different areas.  I delve into many things from watercolors to pottery to making jewelry.  Here are some photos of my work.  Please comment and let me know what you think.

I make these wheel thrown stoneware bowls.

I make these pottery leaves and then make jewelry out of them.

I make watercolor paintings of landscapes and flowers.  Some of these are framed and some are inside little vintage boxes.

Some of these items do not fall under our REMIX category and are considered handmade original art.
Please let me know what you think. I would appreciate any and all comments and thoughts.

Barb, I do think you should keep your fine art, jewelry and jewelry boxes separate from vintage. I think it will show case your fine art better. You know how I feel about your art it is lovely!!!I especially like the jewelry boxes too and the flower paintings. Your pottery is lovely too. :-) You are very gifted!
Barb,
Your artwork is really lovely. I think you should definitely put it in a new shop 8-)

Thank you Cyndy and Laura, I am really leaning towards that now. I think it would make more sense to people. I appreciate your input.

I started with two totally separate shops. I quickly found that my artwork was a lot harder to sell than vintage and I found two shops took double the time and double the cross promoting. I have to admit I slacked a bit on the second. By slowing adding some of my art pieces into my vintage shop I ended up faring better. So my advice is to do what you can handle. If you have the time to talk up, cross reference and promote another shop, why not. If not, you may wish to test the waters and put a pottery section in your current shop. If it takes off, it would be easy to direct people to the new shop. Either way with talent like yours, you can win. I think those pendants will be a huge hit.
